Aqueous solution - ready to use
for teat dipping / spraying in dairy cows

Composition:   Each liter contains:-
                                                     Povidone Iodine to provide available Iodine   5.4 gm       

Description:    MASGUARD-RTU is the compound of a kind of iodophor, to provide available iodine. 
                       Iodine has a bactericidal action and can be used as a teat disinfectants
                       for post milking teat sanitation in dairy cows.

Indications:    Use in dairy cows.  
                      As an aid in the control of mastitis in lactating dairy cows
                      and in the prevention and healing of cracked and chapped teats.

Dosage and administration:To be applied directly with the undiluted this product (RTU – Ready to use) by dipping or spraying for dairy cows’ teats immediately after milking.

   Teat dipping –  Fill teat dip cup about two thirds full with the undiluted product and dip the teats
                            immediately after each cow is milked. Top up the cup with the product as
                            necessary.

   Teat spraying–  Immediately after milking, spray the entire surface of each teat with this solution.

   Udder washing/cluster dipping – Use in proportion of 1 part to 80 parts of clean water, i.e.125 ml in
                           10 L or 2 fl.oz. in 1 gallon.
                  Udder cloths should be allowed to soak in the solution. The use of separate udder cloths
                  for each cow is strongly recommended. 
                  Teat cluster should be immersed and agitated for at least 30 second before milking
                  each cow. Rinse in clean water before use. 
 
Special precautions for use:
 Precautions for use in animals:
                       Teat dip cups should be emptied and washed before use.
                       Wash and dry udder and teats before next milking. 
 Precautions for the person administering the product:
                            Avoid contact with eyes, if splashed in the eyes rinse with clean running water and seek medical  advice.
                           In case of ingestion seek medical attention immediately.
                           When used as a spray, avoid working in a spray mist.
                           Do not eat or smoke whilst using this product.
                           Wash hands after use.
 Precautions for the disposal of unused product or waste material if any:
                           Harmful to fish and aquatic life. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or     ditches with the product or empty container.

Storage:    Do not store above 25 C and keep in tightly closed container.
