Composition: Each gram contains:-Amoxicillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxicillin 500 mg
Description: Amoxicillin is a semisynthetic penicillin with a broad spectrum of activity against
gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Indications: For treatment of infections caused by bacteria susceptible to amoxicillin.
In pigs (after weaning and bodyweight up to 30 kilograms) – Treatment of swine
pleuroneumonia due to Actinobacillus pleuroneumoniae.
In chickens (except for layers) – Prevention at the group level when disease is present,
of respiratory infections caused by E. coli in broilers.
Dosage & Administration:
For oral administration by mixing in the drinking water or the milk.
Pigs: 20 mg of Amoxicillin base per kg bodyweight, once daily for 5 days.
Chickens: 10-20 mg of Amoxicillin base per kg bodyweight, once daily for 5 days.
The above mentioned dosage, after administer for 2 days all symptoms should be
subsided, if the symptoms have not improved, should consult the licensed veterinarian.
Withdrawal times : Pigs – 15 days; Chickens (broilers) – 15 days.
Precautions: Do not use for layers.Do not handle this product if you know you are sensitized.
Storage: Store in dry place and should not above 25 OC.
