MUTALIN 10% Premix
Medicated feed premix
Composition: Each kg contains:-Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate 100 gm
Indications: For the treatment, prevention and control of swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira
hyodysenteriae and complicated by Fusobacterium spp. and Bacteroides spp..
As an aid in the control of the enzootic pneumonia complex caused by Actinobacillus
pleuropneumoniae and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae etc. in pigs.
Dosage & Administration:
For the treatment of clinical swine dysentery
The dose is 5 mg Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate (Thf)
per kg of bodyweight daily, administered for 7 -10 days.
An inclusion rate of 1 kg MUTALIN 10% Premix (equivalent to 100 gm Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate)
per 1 ton of feed should provide this dose in growing pigs.
Following recovery, continue medication at the preventive level to prevent recurrence of the disease.
For the control and prevention of swine dysentery
The dose is 1.5-2 mg Tiamulin hydrogenfumarate per kg of bodyweight daily
administered throughout the period of risk to control re-infection.
An inclusion rate of 300-400 gm MUTALIN 10% Premix (equivalent to 30-40 gm
Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate) per 1 ton of feed.
As and aid in the control of enzootic pneumonia complex in pigs
the dose is 1.5-2 mg Tiamulinhydrogen fumarate per kg of bodyweight daily
administered for up to 2 months during the period of risk.An inclusion rate of 300-400 gm
MUTALIN 10% Premix (equivalent to 30-40 gm Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate) per 1 ton
of feed should provide this dose in growing pigs.
Withdrawal times: Pigs – 5 days
Precautions: To be used in pig rations only.
Storage: Store in dry place, should not above 25OC and protect from direct sunlight.
